In my Napa boot camp I’m constantly challenging my boot camp members to push themselves past their perceived limits so they can achieve success in weight loss and self confidence and in this post on the best core exercises for men I’m going to show you how to flatten your belly.
Many of the people who first come into my boot camp are unfortunately very unconfident in themselves and this is really a shame because they’re really great people. But years of being overweight has caused them to not feel good about themselves and that big beer belly isn’t helping the situation.
These Core Exercises For Men Are NOT For Babies
What I first recommend to my boot campers who are looking to lose the fat is to first focus on the nutrition because as long as they show up to my boot camp workout sessions I’ll tell them everything they need to be doing. But once they leave the boot camp they’re pretty much out on their own.
Just because I named this post the best core exercises for men doesn’t mean that these workouts don’t also apply to women as well. Everybody in my boot camp does the same exercises even if they have to progress them differently. While one man may be doing plyometric push-ups somebody else who is just beginning may be doing push-ups from their knees.
They key is to pick core exercises that are going to cause your heart rate to elevate so your body can burn off more calories. This is easy said than done because you can expect to suck some wind while doing these intense movements but I can guarantee you they’ll be the best thing for you.
What are the Best Core Exercises for Men?
Some of the best core exercises for men include burpee bullfrogs, mountain climbers, atomic push-ups and dive-bombers. Now I wouldn’t recommend for everybody to do these same progressions of these exercises because that would be insane. The point of coming to my Napa boot camp classes isn’t just for men to tell you what to do but for me to give you the correct progressions for your fitness level.
One of the reasons I make these core exercises for men so intense is because they work but another missing piece of the puzzle is how long you do these exercises. I try to make sure my boot campers do these exercises for at least 45 seconds at a time with no rest in between exercises to keep their heart rates going strong.
The first time you come to one of my boot camps you’ll quickly realize how difficult it is but I can promise you the first boot camp is easily going to be the hardest. After a while of doing these core exercises you can expect your body to adjust and even though the workouts will always be hard they won’t be as difficult as before.
