Some of the best fat burning exercises I know of and use in my Napa boot camp are going to obviously be super intense but productive. The problem with most people’s workout routines is that they can become a complete waste of time because they focus strictly on doing isolation exercises such as bicep curls and leg extensions. But the real trick in your workouts to lose belly fat is going to be by using compound exercises that involve multiple muscle groups and joints. Don’t worry because at one time I also used to focus strictly on those exercises which led me nowhere but in this article I’m going to share with you the best fat burning exercises I know of.
The Best Fat Burning Exercises Ever
As a personal trainer I am constantly hearing questions about lifting lighter weights for higher repetitions in order to burn fat, and I’ll always tell them that they’re pretty much wasting their time. Everybody including women have to understand that they’re not going to get big bulky muscles just by lifting weights three times a week. The truth is it involves so much more to gain lots of muscle other than lifting heavier weights such as your caloric intake and hormones. The goal of lifting heavier weights is to build more lean muscle which will help tone up your body and suss burn more fat by raising your metabolism. So rule number one is going to be with heavier weights but final weight that’s challenging for you that doesn’t make you lose proper form during the movement.
So What Are The Best Fat Burning Exercises?
Some of the best fat burning exercises include deadlifts, squats, pull-ups, push-ups and lunges because they fit all of the categories above and I would never recommend doing these exercises on machines in less you’re physically handicapped. The benefits of doing free motion exercises such as the ones listed above are that you’ll use more muscles to stabilize your body during the movement causing more hormonal releases leading to strength gains and fat loss. I would also recommend joining different exercises like the ones listed above in combination exercises such as doing a squat and then going directly to a pullup. This will give you the best of both worlds in the exercise and you’ll increase your heart rate dramatically while also training multiple muscle groups in your body.
The Final Word On My Best Fat Burning Exercises
In addition to the strategies listed above I would also recommend having a high time under tension throughout the exercise such as 45 to 50 seconds with shorter rest times in between exercises. This will ensure your heart rate stays elevated so you can burn more fat and gain a more lean muscle but the trade-off here is that the workout is going to be much more intense than what you’re probably used to. I would also recommend doing these exercises and in a circuit routine by doing one after another in groups of five and only resting after you finish the full circuit before repeating it again. Even though I listed some of the best fat burning exercises above the principles I outlined in this article can be applied to anybody’s exercise routine for fat loss and body toning.
